Full terms and conditions

1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Spin The Wheelly (the "Site" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please stop using the site immediately.

These terms apply to every visitor, whether you're spinning once or using the wheel daily. No signup is required — but using the site means accepting these rules.

Short version: use the site fairly, don't abuse it, and we're good.

2Free to Use

Spin The Wheelly is 100% free to use. There is no signup, no payment, no subscription, no premium tier, and no hidden fees. Every tool on the site — the main wheel, the random name picker, the yes/no wheel, the team generator, and the "what to eat" decider — is free, always.

We intend to keep it that way permanently. If this ever changes, existing features will remain accessible under these same terms.

3Fair Use Policy

You may use Spin The Wheelly for personal, educational, or commercial purposes. However, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to break, overload, or abuse the service (including DoS attacks, automated scraping, or excessive request volume).
  • Use the service for illegal or harmful activities.
  • Copy or redistribute the site's source code as your own without permission.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract any non-public part of the service.
  • Embed the site inside another site in a way that misrepresents its origin (e.g., iframe-based framing disguised as your own product).
  • Use the service to harass, defame, or harm any person.
  • Upload illegal content as images or entries.

These rules exist to keep the site fast, safe, and available for everyone. Breaking them may result in your access being blocked.

4Randomness & Fairness

Every spin uses the browser's built-in cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues). Each entry has an equal chance of being selected on every spin, and each spin is independent of the last.

The winner is selected before the wheel starts spinning — the animation is purely visual suspense. The result is final for that spin.

Important: we cannot control which entry wins, and neither can you. Please don't use the wheel for high-stakes legal, financial, or medical decisions. It's a fun tool for everyday choices — not a source of professional advice.

5No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied — including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do our best to keep Spin The Wheelly working, fast, and bug-free. But we cannot guarantee that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

6Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spin The Wheelly and its creators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of, or inability to use, the service.
  • Any decision made based on a spin result.
  • Any data loss (though there shouldn't be any, since we don't store data).
  • Any temporary or permanent interruption of service.
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.

In short: use the site at your own risk. It's a free tool meant to be helpful — not a guarantee of any particular outcome.

7Intellectual Property

All original design, code, text, branding, icons, and visual elements of Spin The Wheelly are owned by us and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy or redistribute the site's code as your own.

You do retain full ownership of the entries, names, and images you add to the wheel. Because they never leave your device, we have no claim over them whatsoever.

Fair use exceptions (e.g., educational screenshots, reviews, news coverage) are of course respected. Just don't claim the site as yours.

8Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Any decisions you make based on the wheel's results.
  • The entries you type into the wheel.
  • The images you upload, and ensuring they don't violate anyone else's rights.
  • Making sure your use of the site complies with local laws in your jurisdiction.
  • Any consequences of sharing your spin results with others.

The wheel is a tool — you're the one who decides what to do with its output.

9Third-Party Links & Services

The site may include links to third-party websites or services (for example, our Google Fonts typeface delivery). We don't control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

Clicking any third-party link is done at your own discretion. We recommend reading the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

10Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions occasionally to reflect changes to the service or for legal clarity. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Spin The Wheelly after any update means you accept the revised terms. If you don't agree with the changes, please stop using the site.

11Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Spin The Wheelly, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from your use of the site will be handled under that jurisdiction's rules.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue in full effect. The failure of either party to enforce any right under these terms is not a waiver of that right.
